The TK-x180 series radios are one of Kenwood's most versatile analog radios. They can be dash mount, Trunk mount (using the KRK-10), or used with out a control head.

Adding GPS capabilities

There are multiple places to get power and ground for a GPS board. Most GPS boards and antennas require 5 to 12VDC. Connect the GPS data out to either RXD1 or RXD2. Your position can either be displayed on the screen by setting a button to "Display GPS," or send to a receiver setup as a modem connected to a PC over the air.
